Digital Marketing Manger

Role Purpose

The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to promote digital design services, enhance brand visibility, and drive business growth. This role focuses on lead generation, performance marketing, content strategy, SEO, paid media, and analytics to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

A. Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement data-driven digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and utilize the best digital channels to promote services (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, content marketing, etc.).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to optimize marketing efforts.

B. Lead Generation & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and execute ROI-focused paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC) and improve conversion rates through data-driven insights.
  • Manage and optimize digital marketing budgets to maximize ROI across paid media channels.

C. Content Marketing & Brand Positioning

  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to create high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, whitepapers, landing pages, and social media content.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Utilize storytelling techniques to enhance customer engagement and retention.

D. SEO & Website Optimization

  • Oversee SEO strategy (on-page, off-page, and technical) to improve organic search rankings.
  • Work with designers and developers to optimize website UX/UI for better engagement and lead generation.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices.

E. Social Media & Community Growth

  • Develop and manage an organic and paid social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Build a strong online presence through influencer partnerships and user-generated content.
  • Engage with industry communities to drive traffic and credibility.

F. Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Define, track, and analyze key marketing KPIs, including website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI on campaigns.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, and CRM systems to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed reports with insights and recommendations for optimization.

G. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital marketing professionals.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns.
  • Develop training programs and best practices for digital marketing strategies.

Key Tasks & Activities

Daily Tasks:

  • Monitor and optimize digital marketing campaigns (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing).
  • Track and analyze marketing KPIs to assess performance.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to develop new marketing materials.
  • Engage with social media communities and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Conduct keyword research and update website content for SEO.

Weekly Tasks:

  • Review and adjust ad campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Prepare and present marketing performance reports.
  • Plan and schedule social media and email marketing content.
  • Coordinate with sales and product teams to align marketing efforts.

Monthly/Quarterly Tasks:

  • Develop and refine digital marketing strategies based on data insights.
  • Perform in-depth competitor and market analysis.
  • Plan and execute large-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct training sessions for marketing team members.
  • Set goals for lead generation and customer acquisition.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Lead Generation & Conversion Rates: Number of leads generated and percentage converted into customers.
  • SEO Performance: Growth in organic traffic, keyword rankings, and domain authority.
  • Paid Campaign ROI: Return on ad spend (ROAS) and cost per acquisition (CPA).
  • Social Media Engagement: Increase in followers, and user interactions.
  • Email Marketing Metrics: Open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and lead nurturing effectiveness.
  • Website Performance: Bounce rates, time on site, and user journey analysis.

Required Competencies & Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO tools like SEMrush & Ahrefs)
  • strong knowledge of marketing automation & CRM (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in web analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Data Studio)
  • Email marketing and lead nurturing strategies
  • Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) including A/B testing, landing page optimization, and user behaviour analysis.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles for web conversion optimization
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for B2B prospecting and lead generation
  • Working knowledge of AI tools for digital marketing including content support, automation, and campaign optimization
  • Understanding of First Party Data Strategy for managing and utilizing customer data from owned digital channels. Understanding of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for featured results and voice search visibility
  • Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for AI driven search platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the digital design industry.
  • Certifications: Google Ads Certification, HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification (preferred), or equivalent digital marketing certifications.
